Teenager Strength Training

We all know exercise has many benefits and developing strong habits, posture, good technique and routine as a young adult sets one up for life. At Form Fitness we have experiance working with teenagers from the age of 12-19 and provide an environment in which they can train safely under the guidance of one of our Experienced Personal Trainers.

Teen Strength for Life

In a now sedentary society its hard as a young adult to develop the skills and strength that life gave most of us (now adults) just 20years ago! Movement is no longer a given and as a result the strength, bone density, coordination and other benefits exercise rewards us with are not as easily being passed onto our younger generation.

If your worried your teenager isn’t getting the movement they need we can help by them educating them how to exercise safely, develop good posture, motor skills and help them form habits that will carry them into Adulthood.

As with all our clients we start with a full assessment so we know the areas we can target right from the start of their training. We look at posture, flexibility, stability and muscle function to assess which aspects of their training we can help them improve the most so that they are able to move well, hold good posture and develop good exercise habits.

We also cant forget that throwing in a little fun to keep engagement is also important, when we have a good experiance with something it helps!

If you are keen to get your Teen the help they need contact us  or book them in for an assessment today.

Teen Athletic Conditioning - for Competitive Sport

At FORM we work with young athletes to help them develop the symmetry, strength, posture and stability they need for their chosen sport. We incorporate injury prevention into a conditioning program and ensure that they can perform at their very best.

A functional athlete very rarely gets injured and an athlete that excels maximises his or her ability by having a  strength program to assist them in achieving their goals.

At Form Fitness we start with a full-body assessment which entails postural analysis, muscle imbalance testinhttps://www.formfitness.co.nz/book-now/g, gait analysis, movement pattern assessment, strength testing, flexibility testing etc.  A body that works in synergy is far more powerful than one that doesn’t.

For individualised, periodised and safe strength training have your teen work with one of our experienced Trainers today.
